Rob Lubin

Candidate for U.S. Congress - District 2

Rob Lubin is a small business owner and entrepreneur who is running for Congress to make New York a better place for all of us to live, work, and raise a family.

Rob has spent his career fighting hard to deliver results and create economic opportunities for others. Now he’s taking that fight to Congress to build a stronger economy for working families, end the gun violence epidemic, improve our water quality, look after our seniors, lower healthcare costs, defend a woman’s right to choose, cut red tape for small businesses, and keep Long Island families safe.

As a native New Yorker and as the son of an immigrant, Rob understands what the promise of America and New York means – both here at home and around the world. And he understands just how important it is to keep that dream and that promise alive.

Rob started his career working for global soccer clubs like A.S. Roma and FC Barcelona, after which he founded an industry-leading online marketplace that now employs dozens of New Yorkers. After building his company from the ground up, Rob knows what it takes to balance the books, make payroll, and navigate government bureaucracy. He is committed to taking that experience and using it to expand economic opportunities for all Long lsland businesses and workers.

Rob is stepping up to run for Congress to end the division in our politics. He believes that we can accomplish more by bringing people together around our common values and aspirations as neighbors, New Yorkers, and Americans. Perhaps most importantly, Rob also knows that we need leaders who will fight for the people they represent, especially with their healthcare. In 2018, Rob was diagnosed with a rare condition which left him blind in one eye. Like so many New Yorkers, Rob was shocked by the staggering costs of his treatments and deeply understands that medical care is out of reach for far too many.
